Bionic ... the upcoming EP
Bionic represents a significant milestone in my musical portfolio, signifying an evolution of my creativity and personal artistry. It serves as a platform where my artistic vision comes to the forefront where I compose, produce, mix and master each track, exploring new dimensions through electronic and liquid DNB.
I’ve never felt as connected to my music as I do now. This new chapter has allowed me to resonate deeply with music’s ability to tell a story. I’ve created music that is more authentic to me than ever before, with each track referencing my journey, reflecting on what was and what is to become.
Despite my profound love for R&B, I am far from that artist; there is no denying this genre’s influence on my vocal delivery and ability. I have fused my musical influences, creating something that feels immensely unique.
With each track referring to one another, this body of work never strays from the story I am trying to tell. Through passionate storytelling backed by upbeat electronic drumkits, fused with cinematic landscapes, layers of plucks, a series of guitars and a signature sound featured in each track, a sound that evolves but never changes, reflecting a unique delivery of its own. Here I am reflecting on my ‘Inability’ to embrace change, which is constant but never changes. Through this, we evolve and grow.
Everything you hear throughout listening to Bionic reflects me, changing yet never changing. Through Bionic, I deliver things that have yet to be heard in my music catalogue. Expect intimate vocals, nuanced with various effects, and a choir of Kieron’s with some of my most extensive harmonies.
Bionic has allowed me to connect with myself more personally than ever now that I am in the most significant period of my life. I am about to turn 25, with so many changes around the corner, and I am still determining tomorrow. Bionic has opened my eyes to the scary but honest realities that I would usually mask and brought clarity to me in unsteady times, I hope it can do the same for you.
